This'll be my second eBay Christmas party in Berlin then. Fancy dress again, but after the previous year's Jedi debacle, I decided to ignore that principle and opted for stylish instead. So, a snappy black suit did the job nicely. God, I'm handsome, I want me. But sadly I'm not my type.

The best thing about going to these events in Berlin was firstly that eBay employees from all over the world suddenly found a reason to be in Berlin. "Oh wow, you guys are having a party whilst I'm over? That is like so totally cool!". Ahhhhh can-it, we can see through you. However, it gave me the opportunity to indulge one of my favourite hobbies: laughing at the misfortune of others. I think it got down to about -20 celcius on a good day, and the Californians and Australians just couldn't cope with it. Have you seen those bits of news footage where the helicopter flies over all the cars and lorries frozen and stuck on a snowy motorway? Image a line of Aussies and Yanks just like that, and you are pretty damn close. No one punched Richard Green this time, mostly bacause he wasn't there.

I'd have done it if I'd seen him.
