Work
From the 6th of July 2007 through to the 9th, Formula One returned to Britain and to the historic Silverstone track. The crowd was as diverse as always, but the main focus for everyone that weekend was Lewis Hamilton and the very real prospect of a British driver winning his home Grand Prix - last achieved by David Coulthard back in 2000.

The hype might have been suffocating at times, but there was no mistaking the way the crowd erupted as Lewis passed the finish line at the end of the last qualifying session and took pole position. That experience in itself almost justified the trip to the Northamptonshire.
