In all fairness though, it was a great holiday. Not only did I see my brother and the lovely Chris married in a beautiful setting, but I met some great new people (you know who you are) and saw my family grow that little bit more. Kalkan is actually a very nice town, with some of the most friendly locals you could hope to meet. It's a steep walk from the harbour back up towards the hotels and apartments though, so not for the faint of heart or weak of knee.
I can foresee many more trips to this scorching destination, not least because my brother owns an apartment there, a facility I am sure to abuse make good use of. Have a look at the swish pad here. You'll have to forgive some of the dumb photos in this collection; if you think these are bad you should see the ones that didn't make it. It just goes to show, give a man enough beer and a digital camera and you can abandon all hope of any picture not being blurred.
