I do wish I could remember the name of the beautiful town we visited on the first day, and which account for the first set of pictures in this collection. Very much in Don Quixote country, if I recall correctly. Which is odd, as I was reading the very same book at that time. Never let it be said that our Spanish cousins take life too seriously. Relaxing at any given moment is pretty much a national pastime, and I can't find fault with that.
With that in mind, Mari took me to her parent's villa outside of Madrid, at the foot of the mountains. Barbecue, swimming pool, and spectacular scenery. What more could one ask for? I do feel lucky to have visited so many places and have friends in so many cities across the world. Hey, you're all welcome to come over to London any time you like and I'll see you good.
