Kathi, Mel, Jeremy, Jeremy's mate whose name escapes me, and I took a two night trip down to Sin City after a week's work at eBay. Vegas really is the world's best amusement park, with just about everything the soul could crave. Just underneath the neon surface is the bubbling pool of human nature in all its disgraceful glory: sex, gluttony, greed, and tragedy all simmering away. Must be why I liked it so much and why I must go back!
Slight sad note to all this though; it was ultimately the finalé of my final trip to the US with eBay as soon after I had to resign from my position there. I do still miss everyone terribly, but I do have some great memories and some great friends from my time there, and I still have the hope that one day we will be back together.
