Work
Since February 2006, I've been working at the British Broadcasting Corporation (the BBC to you and me). I originally started work as a Client Side Developer to work on the 'World Cup Daq' site, a sister-site to the Celebdaq and Sportdaq sites, that was up during the FIFA 2006 World Cup. During this time, I was also fortunate enough to spend a month working with the www.bbc.co.uk/comedy team in an editorial role as an Assistant Content Producer. During this time I was able to write news articles and episode guides, among many other things.

Following the completion of that project, my new contract took me to work with the BBC Commissioning team and the Vision (née Factual & Learning) intranet team. Whilst still using my web development skills, I have become more involved with content producing. This allows me to write and sub-edit content for websites (both internal and external) and to involve myself in other areas of the corporation.

Most satisfyingly, I get to interview programme-makers for articles that are published on our intranet site. To date, these have included articles on the programmes 'Stephen Fry: Secret Life Of The Manic Depressive', 'Mark Lawson Talks To...' and the Heroes, Spooks and Points of View websites.
