After joining eBay UK in May 2001 I spent three and a half years working at eBay as a web developer. During this time I was responsible for the HTML / JavaScript / CSS front-end of the eBay UK website. I was also appointed team-lead for the European web developers, which meant I had responsibilities for organising workload on a pan-European basis, as well as liaising with the international business units to ensure processes ran smoothly.

Other highlights of my time at eBay UK include leading the numerous redevelopment projects to generate new homepages for the site, working to streamline and implement an effective process between content management, design, and web development, as well as over-seeing countless site updates and promotional pages / mini-sites.

Ultimately, I built most of the pages for the eBay UK as it exists now, but pages that are demonstrative of my work and might be of specific interest include eBay Motors, eBay Explained, and the Star Wars: Episode II promotional page.
